Vicky Larkin

Vicky Larkin is a Senior Leadership Consultant and Executive Coach with Executive Development Associates. Her 23 years of employment experience with Fortune 500 companies in both operations and staff positions enable her to connect with clients at all levels, from hourly workforces to executive decision makers.

Strategic planning, training, employee and community relations, and organizational development are major areas of expertise. Vicky has led and served on numerous taskforce Human Resource initiatives including succession planning, core competencies, outplacement of surplus technical staff, performance management system automation, mergers and acquisitions, panel interviewing, change management programs, ISO 9001 certification, employee attitude surveys, and Affirmative Action plan audits. Vicky has stepped out of the human resources field to serve as Engineering/Maintenance Supervisor, Safety Engineer, and as a Labor Relations Representative.

Training assignments have taken Vicky to Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and 36 of the United States. She has delivered career coaching, resume or interview preparation, and motivational keynotes to various clients. Her experience with manufacturing in union and non-union environments, service industries, and government positions enables her to provide targeted advice and consultation.

Vicky was an adjunct coaching staff member for more than 13 years with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) in Greensboro, NC. Currently she serves CCL as part-time training Faculty. Utilizing 360 degree feedback instruments, she has provided interpersonal skills guidance to several hundred executives. As a Board Certified Coach she uses positive inquiry to encourage client self-discovery leading to action.

Vicky holds an M.B.A. in Industrial Relations from Marquette University and a B.S. in Personnel Management, College of Business Administration, from the University of Tennessee. She is a Board Certified Coach through the Center for Credentialing and Education in Greensboro, North Carolina. She belongs to the American Society for Training and Development and is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association.
