Jan Wilmott

Jan Wilmott is an Executive Development Expert and C-Suite Coach with Executive Development Associates. His most recent internal assignment was at the Royal Bank of Canada, where he joined in 2009 as the Director of Leadership Development. Headquartered in Toronto, RBC Financial Group is Canada’s largest bank and the 10th largest diversified financial service firm in the world. The team’s mandate is to build focus, alignment, and capability across RBC’s executive, high potential and emerging talent populations, leveraging their ability to execute RBC strategic priorities.

Prior to this posting, Jan was an external consultant where he worked with organizations and individuals in the areas of executive coaching, leadership development, business driven action learning, talent management, succession planning, business simulations, and the creation and operation of Corporate Universities.

Jan served as Executive Director of the UBS Leadership Institute, one of the world’s largest financial services organizations. As Head of Group Talent Management & Development, Wilmott and his global team collaborated with senior leadership to establish strategic direction for enterprise-wide talent management process, systems, and tools focused on developing the Key Talent pipeline.

Previously, Jan also served as the Director of Leadership Development and Head of Executive Development for The Boeing Company. As a senior member of leadership team that designed, built, and opened The Boeing Leadership Center, a $100M residence facility with a $42M annual budget, Jan and his team were responsible for developing two, three, & four week transformational learning experiences for The Boeing Company’s ~20,000 first, mid, and executive level leaders.

Jan is dedicated to working closely with senior executives to create tailored solutions to issues and problems in areas of leadership, talent management, and organization development. Jan focuses on helping clients reach their potential and eliminate personal barriers to excellence.
