Dr. Jerry Davis
Biography: 
Dr. Davis has a proven record of success in Program Management and program development with academia, industry and government. He is the CEO of Innovative Engineering Solutions (IES) and has over 17 years working directly with Army leadership both in and outside the Pentagon. As CEO of IES he has developed numerous sub-contracts working with the Army and has proven results as program manager and as consultant with Army senior leaders.
Dr. Davis has planned, developed and implemented three Army Senior Service College (SSC) Fellowships (MEL I) and is advising the start-up of a forth. The SSC programs were at both an academic university and Defense Acquisition University. Before starting IES he was Associate Dean for Outreach and Performance Support in developing programs in support of the Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Workforce.
Dr. Davis has been an educator/teacher, developing academic programs at several universities including University of Texas, Ohio State University, Virginia Tech and Oklahoma State University. His experience in developing team partnerships and team building in industry and government is overwhelming. Dr. Davis has also participated in the development and execution of a national entrepreneurial training program.
Dr. Davis has a well established record of running small businesses. Leadership activities include retired Colonel (06), City Manager, Director of Dean-level analysis center at the University of Texas, and mentorship of graduate students and multiple leadership activities in industry and government.
Dr. Davis received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics (1976) and his Masters of Science in Education (1978) from Central State University. He received his Doctorate in Higher Education/Research from Ohio State University in 1980. In 1991, Dr. Davis completed his Military Education Level One and Post Doctoral Work at Harvard/Tufts Universities.
