Biography
Jan Wilmott is a Senior EDA Consultant and Executive Coach. Seasoned as a Global HR Executive, he has expertise in Leadership Development, Executive Development, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Organization Development, and Executive Assessment & Coaching.
Jan is a former Executive Director of the UBS Leadership Institute, one of the world’s largest financial services organizations. As Head of Group Talent Management & Development for, Wilmott and his global team collaborated with senior leadership to establish strategic direction for enterprise-wide talent management process, systems, and tools focused on developing the Key Talent pipeline.
The UBS Leadership Institute works closely with the Chairman, CEO and Group Executive Board to design and deliver strategic cross-Business Group learning and developmental activities that enable current and future executive leadership to effectively drive organic growth. The UBS Leadership Institute recently achieved two prestigious awards: ranked #1 by the Corporate University Exchange for the “best launch of a corporate university” and the “2005 Top Ten Companies in Executive Development”. Additionally, UBS was named Europe’s “Top Company for Leaders 2005”.
Jan is the former Director of Leadership Development and Head of Executive Development for The Boeing Company. As a senior member of leadership team that designed, built, and opened The Boeing Leadership Center, a $100M residence facility with a $42M annual budget, Jan and his team were responsible for developing and deploying two, three, & four week transformational learning experiences for The Boeing Company's ~20,000 first, mid, and executive level leaders.
Wilmott led the effort to conceptualize and develop strategically focused developmental experiences for The Boeing Company's ~2,000 executives. He worked closely with the CEO and Executive Council to design and deliver numerous groundbreaking executive education programs focusing on creating the “new” Boeing culture, running healthy core business, and global leadership.
The Boeing Leadership Center achieved many prestigious awards during his tenure, including: ranked #1 by the Corporate University Excellence Exchange for “Leadership Development Best Practices” and Ranked #4 by Executive Excellence Magazine for “Best Leadership Development Programs.” Jan is a founding partner of the International Consortium, a senior executive global leadership development partnership with ABB, ABN Amro Bank, BHP Billiton, Tata & Sons, Standard Bank of SA, The Benfield Group and The Boeing Company.
Jan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco and an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
